As some of you may have already noticed, we are working intensively on a new project, which you can find at burmablog.net. Like many other projects, we started from private funding after having identified the need. The question of funding is not yet solved and like our dictionary we might just continue it for the time being as a voluntary activity until we have reached a critical mass of users.
Fortunately, not only is the Burmese cyberspace full of enthusiastic bloggers and active supporters. The Czech branch of T-Mobile kindly provided us with a free mobile Internet connection, ICanLocalize and a free version of their multilingual plugin and Flattr has admitted us to their charity support. A big thank you to all of them!
